PTT is applicable to upholstery fabrics for seats, including upholstery fabrics for sofas, chairs and other furniture surfaces, and seat fabrics for various vehicles (vehicles, ships, aircraft).
Decorative fabrics such as sofa coat and seat coat are divided into two categories: cotton and chemical fiber, which have gradually replaced leather as sofa covering material. At present, polyester is the most widely used textile fabric for automobile seats, accounting for about 90%. Polyester has excellent light stability and thermal stability, but it feels stuffy when contacting with human skin at high temperature. Compared with other natural fibers, wool and other natural fibers have good air and moisture permeability, but poor UV resistance and high price.
Vat dyes vat dyes are insoluble in water and cannot be dyed directly. It is necessary to reduce it to a cryptochrome in the alkaline strong reducing solution of caustic soda and sodium hydrosulfite. The cotton fiber is dyed by the cryptochrome, and then oxidized to revert to an insoluble dye and fixed on the fiber. Vat dyes have complete chromatograms, bright colors, and good color fastness to sunlight and soaping. However, due to the high price, some yellow and orange varieties have photosensitive brittleness, so their application is limited. When dyeing or printing, the post-soaping treatment should be strengthened to remove the floating color and improve the brightness
